The Recipe to Grow Rich in Your Thinking
Irene Houston asked:
When I read these words by Napoleon Hill, ‘What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” I knew I had found the recipe for success.
You see, when Napoleon Hill wrote these words in his world famous book ‘Think and Grow Rich’, he didn’t intend for his readers to only grow rich financially - but rather, he wanted them to grow rich spiritually and feel fulfilled.
A good example of overcoming adversity can be found in the story of blind Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli. Andrea had always loved to sing whilst growing up in Tuscany, then tragically he suffered from an illness that caused him to gradually lose his sight completely at a young age.
Understandably, Andrea’s parents where keen for him to find a stable career and encouraged him to study law. This was really difficult for him, as he still had a burning desire to become a world class singer. But listening to his parents sound advice, and realizing his disability could be a major drawback, he dutifully agreed and studied for years to obtain his law degree.
But Andrea never gave up the desire to reach his goal of becoming a great singer, and not long after his graduation, he found a voice coach in the north of Italy who could help him pursue his life’s passion to become an opera singer… and the rest is history.
You see, Andrea never doubted for one minute that he couldn’t become a great singer, because he had conceived and believed he could achieve his dream. But are you finding you are stuck in a rut and not able to move forward? Are things not going to plan in your life? Don’t despair and don’t lose sight of your goal and your end success, sometimes you just need a little help along the way. Remember Napoleon Hill’s excellent advice and if you believe you can do it, you will find a way to achieve it.
